Browser extension
Extension site modes and permissions
Control which experience runs and recover when a site adapter conflicts with the page.
Applies to the current Unalgorithm experience
Per-site behavior
Each supported site has its own adapter and available modes. A mode changes presentation and navigation for your current purpose; it does not modify the third-party account itself unless you deliberately use that site's controls.
If a mode hides needed content
- 1Open the Unalgorithm controls.
- 2Switch to a less restrictive mode or disable the mode for the page.
- 3Reload once.
- 4If the issue persists, disable the extension temporarily for that site.
- 5Report the exact URL type, mode, browser, and screenshot.
Keep the extension current
- Allow browser-store updates.
- Restart the browser after a major update when controls appear stale.
- Remove old manually installed builds before installing a store build.
- Do not run multiple versions simultaneously.
