Getting started
Get started with Unalgorithm
Begin with an intention, choose a destination, and finish with a useful result.
Applies to the current Unalgorithm experience
The core idea
Unalgorithm puts a deliberate step between an impulse and an algorithmic site. You state what you want to do, launch an appropriate surface, and keep tools available that help you stop when the task is complete.
Your first intentional session
- 1Open Unalgorithm and write one concrete intention.
- 2Choose a supported destination or Explore path.
- 3Select a clean or focused mode when offered.
- 4Use Focus queries or search rather than the default recommendation feed.
- 5Save only useful items, then end the session when the intention is satisfied.
Main areas
- Explore helps choose useful destinations and modes.
- Saved stores items you intentionally kept.
- History helps you review deliberate sessions.
- Account controls identity and product settings.
- The extension brings modes, Focus queries, saving, and break tools onto supported sites.
